Happy Valentine's Day!

This is what I did yesterday. I mean, all that I did yesterday. I always forget how long sugar cookies can take. But. I do love them. 

This is maybe the third time I have decorated with royal icing. I am still getting my technique down. See how my "flood" is a bit lumpy up there? But it is getting better. There are so many amazing people out there who make beautiful cookies, but one of my favorites is Bake at 350. I used her recipe/tutorial for royal icing.

I had some leftover bags from my kid's valentines and some lollipop sticks, so I decided to do some small heart cookie lollipops. I love the way they turned out!
