A Square a Day in May

OR

Thirty Squares by the End of May (Hopefully)

I am participating in my very first crochet along! You can read all about it at hooked on handmade. The plan is to make one 12 inch granny square every day for the month of may. Or... in my case, the plan is just to somehow make thirty by the end of the month. I'm looking forward to my new beautiful afghan when all is said and done.

But, honestly, I'm not even that far behind. It's May 4th, and I have two and a half squares done. Not too bad, right? Check 'em out:

I decided to go with grays, creams, yellows, and purples. I am using worsted weight wool. I just ordered some more a few days ago, so until it arrives, you will probably see a lot of these few colors.
